A Chief Metaverse Officer is an expert in the new and emerging technology like NFTs, virtual goods, avatars, gaming, XR, AR, and VR. These topics usually fall to the chief digital officer, chief content officer, or chief innovation officer. However, as the tech stack changes and grows, someone who has a creative and technical understanding is needed.
