The Immersionn RELOAD series day 12: "William Morris...and the true secret of happiness lies in..."

Today we are glad Laura Helm, in charge of partnerships at Blend Media and my co-lead for

Woman in Immersive Tech in the UK shares a piece that touched her:

"When I moved to Walthamstow in 2015 and didn't know who William Morris was. As I walked the streets of E17 you couldn't avoid him, his name graced pubs, streets and his famous quotes can be found everywhere.  5 years later and I have now one of those quotes above my desk.

'The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all of the details of daily life.

As lockdown continues, the monotony of every day can become a little overwhelming. This quote reminds me to find a little bit of happiness in the little things, the tiny details and joy in the smallest things.

When all this is over please do visit the William Morris Gallery in E17 in the meantime, you can browse his collection online and find out more about him here

Why the Immersionn RELOAD series?

At our last Immersionn team meeting late March, we discussed what was the appropriate communication content in current times.

We concluded that most people were not in the mood to hear about our business and how great we are (and we are!)...

After a rapid screening of where was the interest of the Immersionn team, we agreed the best was to contribute by cheering up our crowd with some of the content we love during the confinement phase.

So we will select & share one piece on content each day for you over the next 30 days, covering MUSIC, BOOKS, NETFLIX, TED TALKS...

And of course, we are still crowdfunding, in case you get in that mood of becoming one of our angel investors. Here is the link to our Crowdcube campaign
