The Immersionn RELOAD series day 27: World Earth Day

Today we share a piece recommended by Sasha Manners, Director at BCW Global, an Immersionn partner.

"World Earth Day

A fantastic, bright website full of ideas, projects, news, new initiatives and stories has been created by groups of people across the world to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day last week (22nd April). People, organisations and governments from around the world have come together to share ideas that encourage “virtual activism.” Instead of the planned massive clean-ups, climate strikes, sit-ins, events this website brings the world together and gets people working together on creative projects to fight for the planet.

There are projects and challenges to suit everyone, regardless of who or where you are in the world. Each project brings people together and encourages action. The “Artists for Earth” project brings together Graffiti writers, street artists and muralists to inspire supportive action and the “Foodprints for the Future” initiative shows how everyone can get involved by fighting climate change with diet change.

Why the Immersionn RELOAD series?

At an Immersionn team meeting late March 2020, we discussed what was the appropriate communication content in current times.

We concluded that most people were not in the mood to hear about our business and how great we are (and we are!)...

After a rapid screening of where was the interest of the Immersionn team, we agreed the best was to contribute by cheering up our crowd with some of the content we love during the confinement phase.

So we will select & share one piece on content each day for you over the next 30 days, covering MUSIC, BOOKS, NETFLIX, TED TALKS...
